Is it right for me?
FearFighter™ is designed to tackle your thoughts and challenge avoidance behaviours that characterise panic and phobia.
How do I know it works?
You access the material on-line via your PC, tablet or phone. Working through structured sessions, you can print out worksheets for activities, monitor your own progress, and receive emails with further tips at the end of each step.
How long does it take?
There are 9 sessions in all, 30 minutes each, and we recommend you do one session a week. However, as the material is available on-line, 24/7, you can work through it at your own pace, in the privacy of your own home or wherever you are connected to the internet.
How can I be sure that it is effective?
FearFighter™ has undergone extensive testing via randomised controlled trials, including one involving 700 patients from real-world clinics. It has received an endorsement from the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (N.I.C.E.) for being clinically effective, as well as cost effective, for panic and phobia. In the N.IC.E. Final Appraisal Determination (FAD), FearFighter™ was recommended for the management of both panic and phobia. The programme is being adopted by other countries as a recognised standard form of treatment.
